MAN PROPOSES, BUT GOD DISPOSES.

   MAN PROPOSES, BUT GOD DISPOSES:

THE above proverb quoted by Thomas a' Kempis denoted the meaning that human beings can make any plans they want, but it's God that ultimately decides their success or failure.

The proverb highlights the limitations of human abilities and acknowledges a higher power that determines the course of events and the outcone of our proposals.

Think of a youth who proposes his love for a girl to be married. His thoughts are planned before proposals but she never liked him and rejected his proposal.

No doubt, his situation  will be discouraged and lost his joy. But he again contacted her with his friends to talk about the marriage. She still neglected his proposal. Then, we say "man proposes, but God disposes."

                      A man proposes a girl

This is true with regard to world affairs.

Today we see mighty political forces that are gathering strength bent on changing the face of the world. They are convinced that the future of mankind rests within their hands. Political forces governing human affairs are still strong, that aim at uprooting and overturning the old styles of handling mankind's interests.

But, man's limited knowledge and pride with selfishness not allowed him to see the desired results.

This reminds us the biblical Proverbs 19:21
"Many are the plans in the heart of a man, but the counsel of Jehovah is what will stand."

Human society so deeply divided politically since World War I, was not fore-visioned by shortsighted man. But, this political state of human affairs was prophetically illustrated more than 2600 years ago in the Bible.

Not all of us are pleased to see the changes going contrary to our better inclinations. The time for the greatest change of all human experience is at hand!

The Creator of heaven and earth is really concerned about world affairs upon our earth. He has an interest in what goes on here because the earth on which we live is HIS, not the political governments.

That HIS interests in the earth come foremost and will finally be claimed and cared for, that only a god, only the true God could solve all problems of mankind.

In 607 B.C.E. Babylonian Emperor Nebuchadnezzar destroyed unfaithful Jerusalem, a typical kingdom of Jehovah God ceased to exist on earth. After that, Babylon was the Third world power of Bible record.

Read Daniel 2:38,39
The prophet Daniel foretold the successors to the Babylonian World Powers as Medo-Persian empire, Gracian World power, Roman World Power, and the last Anglo-American World Power.

When Anglo-American World Power existing in rulership what will be happened on earth is revealed in the dream that Bible quoted at Daniel 2:44,45.

The Messianic Kingdom in the hands of the glorified Jesus Christ is the "stone" of the dream. The " mountain" is not an earthly mountain of rulership. It is a universal mountain of rulership, for it is the universal
sovereignty of the creator of heaven and earth.

We can expect great world changes in human state of affairs, but we will get a stable government by Jehovah God. We prayed for that government in Mathew 6:9,10, repeatedly
"let your Kingdom come."

The Kingdom of God is already set up in              heaven. In the earth citizens of that govt.
             is enjoyed unity and happiness.

Therefore, "do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs." Psalms 146:4

What are the blessings of God's Government?

1) National distinctions are gone!

No one is citizen of this or that nation. All are world citizens, yes, citizens of one new world.

2) Oneness of language

All men had the one vocabulary, making it possible for them to understand one another's speech.

3) Travelling abroad is easier

No need of a passport. No need of a health certificate. No immigration checkpoints and customs inspection. There is no tax on imports. No need of visas.

4) No different currencies

There are no money exchange banks.

5) Everyone is a friend to everybody else.

There will be enjoyable friendship, a spirit of helpfulness with sincere interest in others welfare.

All the subjects of the world government are understanding one another.

This is something that only the world government can deal with successfully. "Man proposes, but God disposes" is not only applied for olden days but it will be fulfilled in our time.
